- So short story, I've been hearing someone play saxophone in my neighborhood for over a year. I always thought the other sax player was an adult because of some of the songs I've heard them play in the past. It was hard to tell where the sound was coming from and I was too shy to introduce myself…until now 😅. After over a year, mystery solved!

I'm fucking on the precipice of forty and that would be my reaction, too. I RARELY meet people that are reasonable and not annoying, at least once they drop the facade of fake polite. So in the wild, my first reaction is "_____________". I really just want to be left alone. I have to feign interest and geniality at work, all day. Just fuck off.

As a sax player of 38 years, I can tell you that not all people want to hang out with their neighbours because of a single common interest. Play your sax too (not at the same time) and wait for them to come say hello.

Saxophone is literally the most romantic sound from an instrument. ❤ My parents would play jazz all the time growing up, and I am still obsessed every time I hear the sound of a saxophone. I am always drawn to it.

I did a solo and ensemble competition and this is my first year in band as a clarinet and I got superior rating. My district does have really good teachers so I doubt I could’ve done it without them.

Been a musician 45 yrs.
Met my neighbor kid a couple yrs ago. He's a drummer. But, i just walked to the back fence. I left the kit in the recording room. Ha.

I was trying to be relatable because I heard her learning it last summer. If I heard a professional playing some jazz or something, I would have probably started jamming on a standard and see if they would jump on with me.
